Regular Vet Check up

If your dog gets regular vet check up, any existing health condition will be prevented from getting worse. To be able to cure any illness immediately, early diagnosis should be done. Bring your dog to a vet regularly to ensure his safety and wellness.

Vitamins / Dietary supplement

To make sure that yyour companionship with your dog will be brought to its farthest extent, give him the supplements and vitamins that he needs. This will give him enough strength even as he ages and this will also make his immune system stronger in fighting diseases.

Exercises

Even older dogs must do some exercise. Since exercising can make the joints stronger, doing some exercise can help avoid arthritis. Likewise, physical exercises will not only give your dog better health, it would also give him leisure time. Walking is one example of a physical activity that older dogs can enjoy doing.

With younger dogs or with puppies, it’s a totally different thing. Considering the fact that the first weeks of dogs are their molding stage, everything done with the dog will indicate the dog’s personality and its future routine.

Training

Pups and young dogs must be provided training as quickly as possible to avoid growing up with the incorrect routines. Obedience coaching including crate training must be practiced with the puppy. Dog owners must invest regular time in puppy coaching and keep away from postponing sessions to ensure powerful dog training. You can consider training dvds and eBooks in puppy training. Read Secrets to Dog Training review, it is about an eBook for puppy coaching.

Deworming

Playful dogs like young dogs are more likely to be infected by worms. It is advisable to have them checked for the presence of worms or give them medicines for the prevention of worms.

Fun time

Fun time with your puppy is a really significant part of growing a puppy. They need play time with you to develop trust and reliability.

Regular vet check ups

Vet checkups will help you ensure the security of your puppy’s well being. As what has continually been stated, prevention is better than cure. Instead of waiting for harm to be performed, ensure your puppy’s well being by offering him regular vet checkups. Also, it is advisable that you keep on hand some household remedy puppy meds in case of emergencies. Just make sure that these meds are vet prescribed, one instance is aspirin for dogs.

While I agree that the e-Collar is dangerous in the wrong hands they can be a great tool if used porperly. The issue is that most people don’t read the instructions, don’t learn from someone that knows how to use them or just thinks it is a great toy. But I digress.Put the collar on early but don’t turn it on. This gets the pup used to the feel of the collar. Use a command lead or piggin string, short lead with a choke collar or a pinch collar to get the pup started on the basics. I am not going to endorse any one particular approach but I put them in the order I prefer. Once the pup knows the proper behaviour you can use the eCollar at very low settings. I have not used the tone mode but I am seriously considering that with the next pup.If you haven’t trained a dog or two with a check cord, don’t start with an eCollar and go to a class. There are some great DVDs out there but I think that a live seminar is a good way to start. I have trained under about 4 professionals and they are all different but they are also very much the same.
